It's not difficult to setup a paypal account ,most ebay buyers have one...the more convient you make payment the more sales you can make. Some forum like you described is just not going to deliver you many prospects.

Craigslist.org is a real bargain (free) for marketing to locals who you can meet in person to complete the transaction.

You can set up a website to sell merchandise, or go on to Craig's List

I wanna sell a few things of my own from my house, but I don't wanna use Ebay or Amazon, because you need PayPal or such for that. I want a website kind of like a blog, where you can post what you're selling with contact info, price, etc, and people don't have to go through PayPal or Visa or such.
