if i sold a million albums 12$ each would i make arounf $12 million?????

Here's one interesting article reporting that a typical band gets 13% of the sale price, which breaks down to each band member averaging 2.3%.

There's been a history of managers and record companies ripping off artists, the accounting process is probably cleaner these days. The documentary "Searching for Sugarman" details an American folk singer who appeared to be unsuccessful was actually a huge hit in South Africa but never heard about it or received any royalties for years. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2125608/

A million albums at $12 each would NOT get you anywhere near 12 million dollars in cash. You'd be REAL lucky to make ONE million dollars...sorry. I've been around recording artists for years and the studio time alone is ridiculously expensive.

Yes. Just do the work 1,000,000?12=12,000,000 if u have a problem doing that erase the zeros multiply 1?12 which is 12, now add the 6 zeros back

you would sell that amount, but you would also have expenses, so your profit is not $12 million

In physical money in return yes but profit probably about 7-8million dollars

Yes, in gross revenues.

But there are production costs, distribution costs, advertising costs, etc. that will diminish these gross revenues.
