That is NOT at all how modeling works. NO agency would ever tell you to send pictures in a bra and underwear. NO agency would ever contact people through Facebook. Nobody would EVER set up a shoot with you if they have not interviewed you IN PERSON at their office, measured you, photographed you and given you an actual contract. If you are under 18 NO agency would ever speak to you - they can't. An agency cannot communicate with you without a parent present if you are under 18. This is a pervert who wants pictures of teens in their underwear to sell to underage porn sites and then they will try to get you to travel to Miami so they can kidnap you into sex slavery.
Campus Girls USA is a calendar company that does university calendars. They never ask people to submit photos in underwear online - they hold casting calls at universities around the country where girls come in person with their portfolios to be seen in person. And they have an annual model search on their website that is not even accepting applications but you must be a university student to apply
I know for a fact that Wet Seal books their models through LA agencies like LA Models, Ford, Elite and Wilhelmina. They do not scout models online

Just because someone on Facebook tells you they work for a certain company you are going to believe them?? I could tell you I am a scout for Victorias Secret.
Ask her to send you a modeling contract before you go any further. Any legitimate modeling company would get a contract with you at the very beginning if they were as interested as she appears to be.
Also, get in touch with Campus Girls USA and ask them if she really is one of their agents and if their agents recruit in this manner.

So one of my friends through school messaged me telling me about someone who is interested in me to model. The lady added me on Facebook and began telling me how she works for Campus girls USA and other companies. I looked up campus girls USA and it is a legit company. She asked me to send a picture of me in clothing, swim wear, and just plain bra and underwear. So i did so, blurring my face in swim wear and underwear. The next day she contacted me saying places like New York and company, wet seal were interested in me and would like to set something up in Miami, FL. The same day she said she said that NY&C wanted a video of me just posing and stuff. I'm really not sure if this is a scam or not. They haven't asked for any money, just pictures. I'm just concerned because i was contacted through Facebook. if someone can help me that would be great!! Ive done my research and i haven't read anything bad about it yet.
