The Sheriff will be there, don't you worry, you can bet on it!! They will put notice on door, secure it,change of locks. Then tenant has to make arrangements with owner to get property out by appointment only. She would have approximately 14 days to do so. But don't quote me on that, Sheriff will come the day of or in order of receiving, if there busy, they will come in the order of receiving it,might take an extra day due to Holiday and or there busy with forcible detainers. There coming don't worry~~ No Sheriff doesn't move her stuff!! No, stuff not put out by the curb to be stolen. She has so many days,if not moved owner will sell to retain some of his losses. LL will store property by law up too 30 days, then after LL can do what he wants with property if not picked up.
When the landlord gets a deputy to go to the home and remove the furniture. That could happen at any hour of any day. Most states require a court order to remove the contents but that is just a formality to obtain.
My guess is Wednesday since to day is a holiday they will probably go hire the sheriff tomorrow and either tomorrow or Wednesday she will be out. Her stuff will be put out and if she isn't around with a truck and some help maybe stolen.
landlord has to pay a sheriff to execut the writ of eviction...cost a few hundred bucks ...the sheriff , when he has time (seriously) when he has time will post the notice they have 24hours to leave,,,next , when they have time they will come back and check it out...at this point they have the right to physically remove her...if she comes back she is trespassing....when they are , if stuff is left they will inventory it ...the landlord still has to store it....various rules in getting it back....landlord cannot charge a fee to store it (make a profit) the can get expenses if they rent a storage and pAY A GUY TO MOVE IT....Thems the rules
The sheriff or deputy will not do any of the moving, but will watch your cousin do everything. Your cousin will be living on the street or in a car very soon.
if the court made a judgment, the landlord can get the sheriff to change the locks and lock her out
all her belongings will then be considered abandoned
Tickle my ******
She's already been to court and the judge said 7 days. Her 7th day was August 27, 2014, and she's still in her apartment! My question is, when will the people come to evict? She still has a house full of furniture, and ain't moved ****!
