Get a more robust plastic sign made up and screw it to the gate or attach it with a bracket.
If you want to take it further, get a camera and set it up in a window, pointing at the gate, so you can find out who is doing it.
Could be a planning issue, perhaps your neighbours don't appreciate a poster? If you genuinely have permission from the local authority for this advertising then you should laminate a copy of that and place it prominently too. Alternatively put the poster somewhere less easily reached to be ripped off.
Advertise it properly
on notice boards in supermarkets, shop windows, or even set up a face book page
You could maybe put another poster under it saying don't rip the poster down, or file a report for vandilism
Get a bigger poster on the rooftop
Kids, most probably bored 10 year olds who think it is fun.

This could get you a nasty ticket.
So i run a kids club in my local area which runs at weekends. I have only JUST started my new advertising and have put up a poster on the front of my gate at my house, only some person/people are ripping it down.
I can tell it is because the ripped corners of the laminated poster are still under the pins. There are no other kids clubs anywhere in my area so it's not like it's competiton.
How can i stop people taking them or tips?
