You have to work out an approximate time, and then how much you want to get per hour.
1) get a complete specification - number of pages, special functions like search, sitemaps, etc as a written and agreed documents
2) agree who will write the content
3) Agree who will provide the images. If they are going to provide them, allow time for editing and resizing
4) Do you need to create a logo and brand colours?
5) Once you have a first draft, state how many revisions they are allowed (or a time allowance)
If this is your first job, be generous in time estimates - everything will take longer than you expect!

It is hard to say how much you should charge to set-up the website in the first place though, it depends on your skill level and what your actually doing for the client. Website design can go anywhere from $100 to several thousand.

Im 16 and good at web designing. I have recently offered web designing for a small clothing company.
Im not very experienced in pricing etc, I think I can get a domain name for around ￡5, but I was just wondering how much is a good price to charge for making the site, thats not too expensive or cheap.
