Depending on where you live, electric can be very expensive. Here in NY, a 800 sq. ft apartment would that uses electric for everything including heat, would run you around $700 a month in electric alone.
id rather cook on gas.
When the power goes out you loose everything.
A small gas space heater would be nice if its allowed.
gas furnaces need electricity to run the fan so I guess it comes down to a personal preference
Depends on how the price of electric heat compares to natural gas or heating oil.
I see no pros or cons. Yes power bill would be lower if had another energy source but then you have to pay another bill so it would all even out in the long run.
