The difference in the 4 mo class & the 2 week class is that the 4 mo class will only meet a couple times a week and the 2 week class will require 6-8 hrs a day. So it all depends on if you need to have time for a job & other commitments in your life. As others pointed out you do still need to make sure what ever class you take is approved by the state. NOT all classes are.
Google, or call a real estate company in your state for contacts for instruction schools.
If you are not smart enough to figure this out
you will blow as an agent..
I have always wanted to do real estate but everyone said it was a bad idea. I have finally decided to do what I want in life. I'm currently going to a community college which offers both the Practice and the principal, however to take practice you must have already taken Principal, but at the college that will take 4 months. I have looked around, and almost every agency offers courses that only take a few weeks, and they say they will help you start up. To be licensed in CA you need to have Principals, Practice, and another class. I have already done an accounting course and they don't offer anything else at my school or the surrounding ones. Can someone please give me some REAL advice as far as what you have done, and how long it took you?
