If you are keeping the tv without paying it off, they can arrest you for theft. They can also sue you for the balance still due per your contract. If you didn't want to pay the price they ask, which is always lots higher than retail, you shouldn't have signed the contract agreeing to pay.

I got a TV from Acceptance now in HHGREG and paid the value of the tv which was 1000$, and basically told them to f off becaus I'm not paying 3k for it lol. They can't arrest you, but they will sue you and they will win and you will owe the money and they will get the TV back. The only person you are hurting by holding the TV and not paying is yourself.

You aren't getting arrested, but they will win the lawsuit. Fail to pay the lawsuit and it will be turned over to a collection company who will destroy your credit.
