Selling stuff on eBay?

Each price will vary. There is a charge to list and a charge after you've sold the item.

There's a listing fee (variable) on auctions which are listed at a starting price > 0.99p (auctions started at < 0.99p are free), or a fixed price sale, and also a final price fee which deducts a small percentage of the final price of the item when sold. In total, not that much.

They take their fees out of the price of the item and shipping. For example (in case i'm not clear) if you sell something for 5.00 plus 2.00 shipping they will take their fees out of the 7.00. I sell stuff on Ebay all the time.

when you sell on ebay you have to have a paypal account, (Covers seller and buyer if probs with money) but you pay to sell then they take a percentage of your sales, the seller pays through paypal, then paypal take there share, ie sell top 10.00, 40p to advertise, sells for 10.00 ebay charge 90p, payer pays through paypal, paypal take 80, you loose 2.10 of your sales money... additonal charges apply for additonal pictures and lots of other pieces, if you have no money in your paypal account then they take direct from your bank to which your paypal account has to be linked to. Does that help?. Ebay used to be good to many business and con merchants on there now, great for clothing bargains and househod items from private sellers, Good Luck Wendy

It's a convenience fee of 8% of your total earnings. This does not regard to pricing of shipping fees.

Ok so I want to sell me squash racket on eBay but I heard that you have to pay to put stuff on eBay, so do they take that price out of the price of your item or do you have to pay that yourself
