All you an do is save as much $ as you can and move when your lease expires.
You need to be saving as much money as possible so that you will have the funds available to move when your lease expires.
There isn't much you can do since management doesn't want to handle the problem. If you complain constantly, management will most likely not renew your lease. If that happens, you WON'T have a choice, you'll be moving regardless that you don't have the funds.
Keep cleaning up after the low-lifes. Otherwise you're going to have to just deal with the smell.
Where I come from gas and a lighter cures out that infestation and welfare bottom feeders. Just saying..... We need a zombie apocalypse so we can get rid of the tash
You should write dated letters of complaint and send to the landlord so you have proof of the issue. Buy bulk baking soda and sprinkle it near your door so the smell in that area will be controlled. But take off your shoes before you enter your apt to keep from tracking powder everywhere.
6 month lease? bear with it until you can move out
I live in an apartment. I recently moved to Maryland from Arizona.
This is my first apartment by myself. I did research and found a place within my price range. Since I moved in it has been HELL! I did the best research I could do from 3000 miles away, but unfortunately I landed myself in a bad area, and neighborhood, surrounded by living garbage!
I have managed to handle to bug infestation on my own, and I have had the office fix the repairs with in the apartment. Which was not easy! I had to call a state inspector down to the property in order to get them to get repairs com!
Now the major issue is my passage way of my building. For some disgusting un-known reason the “people” in the building piss in the hallway. It is hot and humid and it smells awful! One rainy day my daughter actually slipped and fell due to the slippery wet urine and water! DISGUSTING! I call the office over and over again to ask someone to clean it, and they never come! When the office does send someone to clean it within minutes, someone has pissed in the hallway again! Now I clean the hallway myself, with MY tools, and MY cleaning products. I’ve posted signs, left trash bags for garbage and I have done everything I can think of to get these people to stop! When I left my bucket and mop outside on the porch these people stole it! I have asked security to patrol the area, they do nothing! I’m not sure if it is adults, or these banshees they call children but I am so disgusted by the poor living cond
