Urgently need some guidence?

No matter what; you need to move out as soon as you possibly can.

I'm very sorry but nobody can help you. Look up the Section 21 Notice laws.

That is what's going to happen.

Repeat the first line of my answer.

The only thing(s) you can do is work something out to pay your arrears of with your landlord, and do it - keep paying as you both agree to (which may not be possible since you have already been served the s21 notice), or...the first line of this answer.

Moving out is truly your best option. Move in with a friend? Family?

Get out of there. But...

Keep in mind you will still legally owe the landlord the arrears and they are legally able to pursue collecting them even after you move out.

After you move out so the property can be re-rented the land lord *might* be more willing to accept small, regular, payments to get your arrears gone. Keep your own records of any money you give the landlord after you move out. Even if it's $10 (or pounds?) per week...you're making an attempt. So the landlord therefore won't be very likely to pursue other means of collecting the money you owe.

Landlord is fully capable and allowed by law to attempt collecting the arrears. Unfortunately nothing says they have to be nice about it. Maybe once you're moved out and you take initiative to call them and work out a payment plan to pay off the arrears they would work with you on that, but that is completely up to them.

Talk to the CAB. Don't rely on assumptions.

Before the other answers come in saying "you should have paid rent", take note the Landlord has no clue and not following the correct procedure to evict e.g. " He is harassing me and trying to get me out now?".

Get a Lawyer is my advise.

Long story short..

Got myself into rent arrears, got issued with a section 21 notice (requiring possession)

I started my assured short hold tenancy on 8th Feb 2014 and it ends 6 months from that..

It is dated 5th July and expires on 7th september 2014.. He is harassing me and trying to get me out now? I thought the expiry date was the date I had to be gone before, then he would get a court order to evict me?

Help!
