There's still some remote possibility that search image by example could find the static preview image on a video play page, if you happened to screen grab that same from from your mystery video.

Is there a video search engine like Google Images where you can drag and drop your photo to find the original source? (I am aware of Google Videos, but it does not have the reverse lookup tool) I have a video that I have on my computer, and I don't remember where it came from. I am not talking about sites such as Ixquick or Blinkx. Thanks.
