Washington state Tenant/landlord responsibilities?

Legally you must make all repair requests in writing.

The landlord is not responsible for the door repair as a result of damages happening during your possession unless the landlord was directly responsible for the damages. You also sound like you are demanding upgrades to the condition you rented the trailer. That isn't applicable either. Yes the doors that functioned when you moved in, should function properly now, and your shower should function properly, but if there weren't storm windows in some or all of the windows in the first place, don't expect new ones to appear.

Most landlords will work with you regarding putting a little work in in exchange for a discount on the rent, but before you touch anything you need to get approval from the landlord.

You must give landlord time to fix things, like 30 days except for heating and plumbing problems. You wont be evicted for making repairs but you need owner consent and an agreement written whether he is going to reimburse you, and indemnifying you from modification charges later on. In some states you can ask for reimbursement costs, and other states you ask for rent reduction. But you must be aware if you dont leave the place in original condition when you leave you can be charged.

Talk to your landlord, work something out, put it in writing.

You can fix the items with the landlords permission but can not deduct them from the rent unless he says so.

you work 20 hours...the other 20 hours you get paid tax free 2/3 of you normal pay...you have a spending problem...GO TO HOME DEPOT

Me and my family signed a 1 year lease in a trailer park. there are multiple issues going on with the trailer I know in washington state there is some differences between house rentals and trailer parks policies my landlord continues to neglect fixing all issues including fixing shower, front door which was damaged recently by a neighbor/family member also living in the trailer park who we have not pressed charges on nor have they been evicted for damages and 1 of 2 back doors which doesn't close all the way so they screwed it shut but still has free flowing air in spots a sink in floor all the way down the hall and into master bedroom causing the door not to close right missing storm windows and the list goes on its winter here it's cold I'm on workmans comp due to an injury only working 20 hours a week still trying to pay bills so moving at this time would be impossible what can I do? Could I be evicted for fixing the problems myself and taking those amounts out of our rent if I can even afford it at this time? Am I allowed to do that? I pretty much need the in and outs 100% on everything I can/can not do.
