Matt Cutts, Google's head of search spam announced on Jan 21st 2014 that guest blogging is dead if you are posting content only for building back links. On the other hand side web 2.0 resources are good for improving your brand value but promote websites using web 2.0 sites keeping the users in mind instead of the search engines.
