I agree with the answer(s) above.
Make it about a hobby you are interested in.
You could also create a blog about yourself AND your hobbies.
Make it an online quest, if you will, to achieve something. Slightly on the strange side but I've seen peoples websites that hope to achieve weight gaining! People like this and follow them.....Strange enough but it works for some people!

There are websites and blogs about virtually anything these days.
It is important you set realistic goals about your future site,
Regardless, I would highly recommend you concentrate on stuff you're familiar with and feel comfortable and knowledgeable to write about regularly.
If you are still in school - make it about whatever subject you are WORST at. Researching info for the website will help your grades in a way that has a real purpose, so is more interesting.
Make it about some topic you know about if you want some visitors. What are you trying to accomplish with the website?
Then why make one?
a hobby? thats what people do normally.
