What is Google AdWords?

Posted at: 2015-03-04
Could someone please explain this, and about someone clicking on the advert and why we have to get charged?

Thanks

Google Adwords is the main revenue source of the corporation, this paid advertising which can appear wither as sponsored search results or on their network of publisher sites are priced based on competitive bids for specific search keywords or bids on web site placements.

One can pay wither for impressions or clicks, PPC is a bit more conservative in that you know you are getting some user interaction for your money.

Although sponsored search ads in particular have quite effective when the right keywords are used, they are rather expensive.

$0.50 to $3.00 probably covers the click cost of a large number of ads, some highly competitive Doctor and Lawyer terms are said to have been driven up to obscenely high costs, like $50 for one click on a term like Mesothelioma, which can pay off handsomely for a lawyer.

You have to be charged because Google is a for profit business.

There is a Quality Score factor that effects ad prices, large advertisers might pay considerably less for clicks, a fair number of their advertisers spend $100,000+ a year.

It's a system by Google whereas you are charged by the number of clicks on your advertisements...."why we have to get charged"?-It's a commercial enterprise. If you advertised in a newspaper or on TV you are charged so you are charged for advertising on Google. The difference here is that you pay only for the number of people who click on your ad and is called "PayPerClick" (PPC) advertising.

Google Adwords is ads platform where people can advertise your product or service via google

Could someone please explain this, and about someone clicking on the advert and why we have to get charged?

Thanks
