There is no totally free hosting. The provider has to pay for the servers and so much carry on the cost somehow... you do end up paying at some point. This is through a domain..support..or they may decide to just take your site down. Very unstable to host with a "free host"
Better to pay and get free support plus all the other free things they give you when you sign up.
SiteServing is really cheap.. like $2-3 a month only. You get a free sitebuilder that comes with tons of templates. You also get other free things like google and yahoo credits to help with website traffic.
Also, if you are looking to make a bit of money on the side with little effort... they have a great affiliate program. They actually pay you $5 to signup. You get links and banners and when someone signs up.. you get paid like $150 per sale!! Really adds up too...
