The condo owner is responsible for leaks in the walls of their unit as well as the mold remediation.
Depends upon the rules of your association. In many condos, the association is responsible for anything behind the wall, but it depends.
Shower supply piping is not "common building piping". Those pipes are inside your walls, and thus is the the owner's responsibility to repair.
Judging by what you said
You are liable for the leak
You have the duty to report maintenance
You have the responsibility to report the problem immediately so that your landlord can fix it.
If you don't do that then it becomes YOUR problem and the landlord can take your deposit money to fix the issue when he finally finds out about it after you moved out.
If the shower pipe has a leak in the condo wall, and it causes mold in the wall, until the mold starts to spread months later, whose responsibility is it to remediate the mold?
