Thats not really how people get jobs anymore. You need to tell everyone you know and everyone your parents know that you are looking for a job and have a resume ready to send them. Ask them for feedback on it. If there is an actual job posting , go ahead and apply. but just waiting for someone to call you probably won't happen. Networking is a pain in the butt but it is how you get a job. Post it on facebook, tell everyone you know.

I am looking for a job as a programmer, and I have posted my resume to all the main recruiting websites. I have applied for many jobs, and I have gotten phone calls from recruiting agencies. These recruiters ask me questions and then tell me to wait for an email which never arrive and all I get is job offers. I wish I can get a direct phone call from an employer like it used to be but it is not happening anymore.
