LOL @ "Blacklist". All they have to do is pick up the phone and check your references for your past addresses and they'll be told about your debt. Most landlords do not rent to people who have an outstanding debt with a prior landlord because that usually means there's a good chance you'll stiff them, too. Your best bet is to make payment arrangements for that $1500 and start building up some good faith with that past landlord so you can say you at least are attempting to make good on your obligations.

Quite likely, you are blacklisted if you do not pay what you are supposed to pay, landlords have a list of who not to rent to.

I lived at an apartment complex 2 years ago and i moved out early so i owe them about $1,500... i just recently put in an application for a new apartment that i LOVE and really really want but i dont know if i'll get denied because of it. i have a deadline when i need to move out by and this apartment is perfect. what are the chances ill be denied because of this??
