You shouldn't have any blank pages, really.. only add and publish pages that you have finished. If you have blanks right now, delete them!
In terms of SEO, go and find some good keywords, write them down (or save them in whatever program you are using) then use them on your pages.
You should include the keyword in your title AND within the first four lines of your content.
Also add links on all of your pages, you should aim for 2 or 3 links to some of YOUR other pages, as well as 2 or 3 links to OTHER WEBSITES. This is really important now and will make a difference overnight in terms of rankings.
Also, be sure to register with Google webmaster and Analytics, and also add your sitemap. This will also increase rankings as Google will then be able to crawl your site and get your pages indexed.
Another important thing you should make use of is social sharing - Facebook, G+, Twitter, Pinterest etc.. you can add share buttons via plugins, a great one I use is "Shareaholic"..
If you're unsure of how to find new plugins, here's how (I know you probably already know this, but just incase!)
Go to your admin area then click: PLUGINS ---> ADD NEW ---> type shareaholic in the search bar ---> INSTALL---> ACTIVATE.
Once you have done that you can choose the style of your share buttons - shape, message etc.
You should also share all of your posts and pages on your social sites. Social networking is a great way of getting traffic to your website.
