Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing exclusivity question?

Posted at: 2015-03-04
If I publish an electronic version of my book through Amazon KDP, can I still publish the paperback version of the book on my own website at the same time?

If you think your book is complete crap and no publisher would EVER touch it, you can self publish it.

This is already described in KDP help:

"What does it mean to publish exclusively on Kindle?

When you choose KDP Select for a book, you’re committing to make the digital format of that book available exclusively through the Kindle Store. When your book is enrolled in KDP Select, you cannot distribute your book digitally anywhere else, including on your website, blogs, etc. However, you can continue to distribute your book in physical format, or in any format other than digital. If your KDP Select-enrolled book is found to be available elsewhere in digital format, it may not be eligible to remain in the program. See the KDP Select Terms and Conditions for more information."

So - in short you can, but only if digital version is only KDP.

Yes you can as far as I know. I would check out the site in my source box. I normally just go to them for all of my kindle help. just send them an email or something.
