Is Fiverr.com a legit website? Prices sound to good to be true for some of the services.

Does anybody make money from them?

I've purchased a few Fiverr gigs, and they were certainly worthwhile. I still think that "If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is" is important to remember, though; I've only purchased simple things, usually just for fun because that's all I expect for $5. I also pay close attention to feedback the seller is receiving because people don't tend to hold back when leaving feedback on Fiverr. I've never put something for sale on Fiverr, so I can't speak to that. Also, there are other sites that are nearly identical that I have not yet tried (gigbucks.com does a range of prices and hundy.net does $100, which I would honestly not trust at all - I'd rather go find myself a reputable professional for that price).

tl;dr: The site is legit, but be sensible with expectations. Buyer feedback is solid, so pay attention to that. It's difficult to go wrong with $5, and my credit card hasn't had any issues since purchasing from Fiverr.

Fiverr is Legit and trusted marketplace for both buyers and sellers. We all user Fiverr for buy and sell because

for Buyers : If you are not satisfied with the gig done by the seller you can claim your money back and without any question. But you should be very careful when buying anything. You must look at the sellers profile and it's rating.

for Sellers: Never put gig of anything you can't possibly do. For sellers there is not even a single case where their earned money is tempered. This is good when you are working on a well known marketplace like fiverr.
