Are the articles about earning money online true? (10 points)?

SCAM ALERT!

Those emails are fake with viruses and trojans in attachment. Sweep those emails immediately.

The vast majority of these are scams, as other answerers have said.

There are a few genuine online jobs out there, but *very* few - and you certainly can't earn thousands or hundreds. They're also unlikely to e-mail you job offers - anything you receive if you're not actively looking for work is almost certain to be a scam, and even many you receive if you *are* looking for that sort of work actively.

If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

They work in a variety of ways - some contain viruses, others want you to buy a book/start-up kit and you never make the money back, and others just want your personal details. (Fake job offers are a fantastic way to get someones NI number, address, date of birth and even bank details).

In addition some can get into your e-mail and send themselves to people on your contact list - I've often had these e-mails from friends/contacts who have never heard of the job. So don't trust it even if it appears to come from someone you know well.

okay definitely not true.

No one, and I mean NO ONE is going to offer to pay you 8000 pounds for 10 hours work. Especially if you have no specific skills or haven't tried to contact you them first. They will either try get your bank details, or tell you you have to pay some fee to sign up etc and then you realise it is a scam.

To earn money online your best bet is to become an affiliate. I know a few people who have there own website and make quite a lot.

You can also try forex trading. I'm new to it but i've still made a good amount. Heres an article giving describing what it is briefly: http://bizcovering.com/investing/make-mo...

Good Luck!

Unless you have or your mum has filled in name and email address into sign in form to receive more information about a certain topic, then the email is spam and shouldn't be trusted. If you are using an anti-virus program like AVG Free, it will find 99%s of malicious software before it harms your computer and give you a warning. If it is in your spam box, it's junk. You will sometimes get mail that passes through your spam filter and in that case only trust it if it is from someone whom you know or signed up to their list. I hope this helps. If your mum is looking for real honest ways to make extra money, you can trust Amazon, Google, and a few others. This resource helped me make extra money with little investment.

These emails are scams and should be immediately deleted. Do NOT ever click on one of the links they give.

I din't understand how when sensible people get emails like this their common sense goes out of the window. Has your mum not wondered how these people got her email address and why would they out of the blue offer her a too good to be true money making offer.

Most things emailed to you are scams. After replying they then want you to send so much money to start up. DON'T DO THIS! Some emails contain viruses, or the site they ask you to visit contains them. The website below is from ehow, they have lots of great topics and here is one about work from home jobs.
