I agree. I use blogspot (see www.resty.co.uk). That is Google's Blogger. Its free and easy to use (publishing post, adding pictures, viewing stats, etc), plus when your ready you can use the additional Google Promotional tools. If your consistent and frequent with your writing you will slowly start to build up a healthy amount of readers.
Wordpress is generally seen as the best blogging site, but I have used the free version and was a bit disappointed at the limitations. Realistically, if you wanted to use Wordpress you would have to pay.
I think WordPress is the best blogging site. It suits all users capabilities whether they are gurus or newbies. WordPress offers many free themes and blugings which make life easier.

okay, so i just basically want to know. in your opinion what is the best free blogging site?!?!
the reason i ask this is because i myself want to start a blog. it will be based on dreams that i have while i sleep. i know that sounds kind of dumb, but for some reason i tend to have a dream practically every day. and not just one but about 3-5 in one night. furthermore, for some reason i'am the only one in my family that has this many amount of dreams. i have asked them how often they tend to have dreams and they say hardly ever.
so i think that it be interesting to write about what i dream about even though some stuff is perverted, obviously fiction, science fiction, romance, adventure, etc.
please note that i want a site that's easy to use, free, and honestly i don't care if its a popular site. oh, and i don't really care if i have a lot of followers i just want to somewhat entertain some readers.
also please feel free to list the pros and cons of each site, or even list your past experiences that you've had while using those blogging sites.
