Your goal is to get more traffic. Why not try Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and some popular forums? They lead traffic to your site.
Of course, you need your own blog to communicate with customers about your products, service, which makes people trust you more. You can also build links through blog. You'd better learn more about online marketing.
Technically it is rude to spam blogs and for the most part you will end up getting banned from posting.
However, if the blog allows you to, they will enable a feature that will let you put a link to a website.
You simply go to your ebay listing, copy the link from the address bar and paste it in the field that says website URL.
You might have better luck in finding forums that relate to the items you are selling. Believe me they have forums for EVERYTHING. For example if you are selling dog collars, simply go to Google and type in 'dog training forums' or something along those lines. Then you join the forums, participate by giving great answers that actually help, then you can include a link back to your ebay item.
You actually can post your link to someone else's blog, providing they allow DOFOLLOW links.
More and more of the bloggers deny that kind of access, or filter them using for instance Akismet, as they are considered spam.
I got a few blogs myself, and I would not allow just anyone's links, because it may hurt my SEO efforts and ranking on the web.
The big guys Google, Yahoo!, Bing, etc, send spiders to look for links into every single site on the internet, and if they find unrelated links to the keywords, they just penalize them by placing them lower down the list when someone searches for a certain keyword.
You have to Google your term, and look for "Blogs" only.
You then have to manually, one-by-one, search for blogs that allow your DOFOLLOW backlinks.
