You might get in trouble if you randomly stick pamphlets in peoples mailboxes. So i recommend talking to your local mailman and see if he can get them in mailboxes. Otherwise, post up papers on local bulletin boards, but ask the store owner if you can post it. There are also social networking sites you can post on.
That is a federal crime in the U.S., I'm sure it's not allowed in your side of the world as well, typically people hang flyers on the door or drop them on the porch to avoid the worst legal issues.
In The States, only the post office may use mail boxes for delivery of mail. Call your local p.o. about this.
I'm trying to get the word out about my mums business and I want to put pamphlets in people's mailbox. Is this illegal? I don't want any fines or anything.
