Sure. You will likely have trouble out pricing other online retailers though, but if you can you should. After all, 90% of the work with eBay is doing the listing with photos in the first place. But there are a lot of people doing what you are talking about and making money.

I'm sure some accountant or legal type will answer here that you need a business license or have to file a separate "dba" return, but I wouldn't worry about anything like that until you really are making some money with it.

yes it is legal, but people who buy on ebay want it cheap. If it worked as you suggest then everyone would be doing it.

No it is not illegal , as its yours and you paid for it then you do as you please with the item . If some mug wants to pay more for an item than what it is worth then that is there loss and your gain ,people do it all the time good luck .

I recently got into ebaying rather a lot and sold a lot of stuff around my house.

However, I was wondering if I could sell things that I bought in the shop I.e if I bought a Prada top from a prada outlet store on sale for ￡30 can I resell it for like ￡40 ? Is this legal ?
