Yes the Great World War II depression of 1929, you know it would have been even worse if we hadn't gotten it out of the way 15 years before we fought the war, If you read a book about the depression you will learn that America has so many safe guards in place just to prevent a similar event.
We get SNAP and with SNAP you can stay at home and eat Fukushima Glow in the Dark Fish Sticks and GMO Vegetables. If you find that tough to swallow just wash it down with a big glass of High Fructose Corn Syrup. And if an American gets bored they can always play Video Games.
You can always take a Disabled child down to the Free clinic for a Flu Shot or a preschool
vaccine, My favorite is the Hepatitis A vaccine. It is 30% formaldehyde. The DPT, some polio, and flu shots contain actual formaldehyde. But you better take you umbrella I hear its chem-trailing aluminum these day.
Indeed it can survive one. They may be hard on the people but the nation will survive.
I have no idea how you got the idea there was a depression after WW2. The government was very fearful of the depression returning after the war and took great steps to make sure one would not occur. They did many things considered socialist today to make sure. They even fired up another war, the cold war with the USSR as part of it. There was a bit of a recession but certainly no depression.
There was nothing even close to the depression until the Wall Street triggered great recession of 2007.
there was no Depression after WW2. the economy was booming to the point that women were able to stay home & not work outside of the home after WW2. WW2 is what brought the economy out of the Depression.
and yes, the US could survive another Great Depression. times will be hard for a while & then economy will rebound
I agree any increase is better than a decrease. Life would be just as bad if another great depression hit the U.S. people would lose there jobs and go through stuggles. Some might even commit suicide.
With Obama in DC you're about to find out.
Ok so while doing research, I've seen that their is a split on whether or not the economy is getting any better. Half say that we are heading into another great depression at a constant decline. The other half says we are inclining very slowly but to me any increase is better than a decrease. So what is your opinion? Plus what would life be like if another one hit? Like as far as jobs and surviving? Will it ever get as bad as the one following WWII?
