Well, just like anyone else. IF a lot of people like your app and purchase it then yes. Buut if they dont like it then they will do a bad review and more then likely you wont mAKE money off it. One thing you could do is research what kinds of apps they have, what people are saying they would like to see as an app. For instance, My cell phone does not allow me to block people from calling, but I would buy an app to do that in a heartbeat but since they have free ones, offering that one for purchase would not make you any money, because people would go with free over paid anyday. Do your research first, before putting out there for others ask a few close friends if they would give it a shot this way they can take a look and let you know of any bugs or what they think of it. If they like it ask them if its something they would pay for, if so, you might have a winner :) n regards to the process to publish an app I have NO idea BUT I am sure you can find the answer. There may be some App publishing how to's around the internet or in books somewhere. Just gotta look for it :)
