I think you should just be blunt back like you said. Don't be rude or nice just if he asks that again just say 'no' don't be rude bc he's a customer but make it ovious you want him to stop
Talk to your manager .. Tell him there is this guy who makes me feel uncomfortable...he will prolly get someone else to serve him when he comes to your restaurant.
Could you get someone else to wait on him? That way you avoid the situation entirely.
I work at a restaurant, and this same guy that comes in EVERYDAY always asks me if I am high, which I am clearly not, I have never been high in my life. The first few times I just kind of joked back but said no...but he is beginning to be very blunt and rude to me. (he is the kind of guy (older) that jokes around with people) but it's coming to the point where he is making me uncomfortable, and there are other people in the restaurant. I'm a hostess and he leans on my pedestal thing and will just stare at me-(Like what do I do-I have nothing to say to him so ill kinda turn away??) then asks me (if I'm high). and he makes me feel uncomfortable so I probably look super awkward. Should I just be straight up blunt back to him? Or what should I do? I feel very insulted.
