Revenue: All money earned through operations
Net income: All money made after expenses.
Hi
revenue is the all the money coming in to a business from sales. It is also sometimes confusing called gross income. here the term gross means all the income before expenses. so in this case it is the same as revenue. when income is described as net income it is the gross income less all the expenses.
if just called income most people would assume it to be net income. in a business sense it is also net profit before interest and taxes.
if just called revenue it always would be assumed to be gross income ie all the money in before expenses.
Revenue is the amount of money coming in total, income is the money left over after all expenses.
Revenue is a type of income---a business gets revenue from the sale of goods and services.
Help please! Thanks :)
