Slick design is not necessarily the most effective, direct mailers have found simple postcards with just text on a pastel orange card hand address with a regular stamp is more effective than something more mass produced looking.
it doesn't do any good to draw attention to an ugly flyer nobody is going to want to read.
Make attractive flyers with clear and easy to find information about what or where it refers to, contact info and so on. I hate when I read an ad that interests me and then I have to search and search trying to figure out what business the ad is for....sometimes its so hard to find I give up.

The nicer the flyer the momore attention. My business teacher told us that if we see or hear something bad we are more likely to tell others by it, which is true but nicer flyers naturally draw more attention.
I heard this somewhere if so true. Why? Debating on ordering flyers or making them myself.
