Do you think I got scammed ?

I can't believe people still fall for Nigerian scams

Call the police and do not send any more money, there is no phone

You completely got scammed. Never buy anything from someone you don't meet in person (i.e. like if it was a craigslist purchase) unless it's through a intermediary site like amazon.com or ebay. Those sites actually put your money on hold until the item gets delivered.

Nigeria is the scam capital of the world by the way. It's notorious for scammers.

It sounds almost definitely like you were scammed, and yes, Nigeria is almost ALWAYS the place where the scams come from.

It's a terrible feeling but a lesson learned.

Here is the rule:

Never ever ever purchase expensive items from someone online that you don't know.

You should always use accredited websites like ebay or amazon because they act as a middle man (somewhat) and you can get feedback on the seller from other people who bought from them.

The clue is Nigeria. Most internet scams emanate from there.

A hard lesson that if something seems too good to be true, it almost certainly is.

yes, you were scammed. No help is possible.
