Most people lie because it is the quickest way to earn.
Trust me, I have deal with the same situation last couple months.
They said I will be able to make money with them by doing nothing. About 100 K in 6 months.
It is totally stupid but I signed up for it. I lost 50 bugs but I am so lucky to opt out.
If you are really angry about it, write something to fight against it.
People are going to listen to you because you tell them the truth.
I think you will get rich because of it. If you can give people good advice about the stupid lie, they are going to trust you.
You can sell opposite things to them.
It has gotten worse and it will continue to get worse.
But they really aren't lying. They are just very clever at using words and visual images to manipulate people.
And no, it doesn't get under my skin. I am a smart person. I can read and think and understand which makes me much harder to manipulate than the average Joe.
A fool and his/her money are easily parted.
Each of us is responsible for our own buying habits. We really can't blame the big bad corporations.
P.S. What I actually really enjoy are those drug ads where they go on and on and on about the possible side effects. Yes, we can cure your restless leg, erectile dysfunction or acne but you may experience suicidal thoughts, weight gain, insomnia, diarrhea, liver disease, cancer or death. Okie dokie.
the only advertisement that works is word of mouth. oh and btw comcast is terrible for internet.

I always wanted to ask someone if you feel the same way about about this topic.
When you see an advertisement from a huge corporation about their products with the usual lies, then you associate it with negativity. Like you're fed up with being fed lies from them.
Whenever I see a new commercial about how successful will make you their X product just because you BUY it - makes me feel like this is only going to get worse in 10 years.
Do you have that negativity?
The worst part is that even I buy products that advertise better and lie more.
