They probably paid with an e-check, which takes 5 days to clear. When the payment clears, you'll get an e-mail with the buyer's shipping address. Don't ship until the payment clears.
Always wait for payment to say cleared in Paypal before shipping
Ring Paypal they will tell you everyrthing you need to know on this and every transaction
Sometimes ebay address and paypal address are not compatible. That's why you have to ask the customer wich address should the product be sent.
You ALWAYS wait to receive the payment. Then the shipping information will be available to you.
I've sold my first item on eBay, and I got a winning bid of $48.00. It says that "The payment was initiated and is being processed through PayPal" But my paypal balance is 0.00 (It's a brand new acccount) How do I get shipping details for the customer? Would it be once that the money is transferred and tells me where the customer is coming from? Or do I message them on eBay and ask for their mailing address, and send it to them before I get the money? I assumed that I'd wait for payment and then send the product, but maybe I'm wrong?
