EBay relisting help!!!?

The only way instant payment is enforced is using buy it now with "pay immediately" enabled. Otherwise the buyer has 4 days to pay & if they don't, you open a non payment claim which gives them 4 more additional days. If you were to relist before the full 8 days, you could potentially have 2 winners & 1 item.

I dont know what "clear personal stuff from the device" means. I have never seen such a message from Ebay. The buyer doesnt care if you re-list it if he hasnt paid so there is no point in putting that in the listing. That is not the proper way to handle it because the buyer may be taking longer than you want to pay. You should request immediate payment. If he does not comply then you open an Ebay dispute and wait 4 days then close it and re-list, if you want your seller fee back.

Instead of re-list - go to sell similar. Also the buyer still has up to 3 days to pay for auctions, that is why you cannot check the box 'immediate payment required" during the listing for auctions. If you create another listing, and then the first buyer pays, you will have to end the second listing which could cost you money if you get bids on the #2 listing.

Your listing is meaningless. eBay gives buyers 8 days to pay and if the buyer pays within that time frame and you have sold it to someone else, they will report you to eBay for seller non-performance and leave you a nasty neg.

I sold an iPhone 4 on ebay and mentioned in my listing that if they failed to pay immediately, I would relist. The buyer hasn't paid yet and so I decided to relist. I press relist Item and directled to the page where I can edit my listing. I press continue and it goes to a page where it says I should clear personal stuff from the device and I try to press list but it redirects me back to the listing edit page. How do I fix this problem?
