Yes it does sound dodgy and the bad thing is if yuh did send im an email through yahoo u wouldnt if been covered by ebay

The best thing is to comminicate via ebay nothing else and if he diesnt pay u money withing the 4 daze after he has clicked by it know then report him to ebay and open a case againast him he will then have to pay or gh blocked or kicked out ifits a scam

Something sinilar happened to me aswelll

Good luck do not give him your details out of ebay do what eva but message him only using ebay message.

I wouldn't think it dodgy, but it does sound foreign. Tell the person to find the Pay Now link on the auction site and follow it. Reiterate the original listing as far as the condition of the item. Even if the buyer does send through PayPal away from eBay, you're still covered by both PayPal and eBay.

Oddly enough no - I've often had BIN sellers do precisely this (ask questions after the event).

Simply confirm the item is 'as described in the listing' and say the e-mail they will have received from ebay gives the necessary link for them to make payment via Paypal.

The only dodgy bit is him wanting to know the condition; he has bought it as seen and in accordance with eBay rules; he has to pay for it no matter what the condition is in if you have fairly described it. He should have asked for the condition before sale ended if he was that interested.

Very dodgy

i sold something on ebay through buy it now and within a hour or so it sold for a good amount then i receive this message through ebay;
