Fake perfume on ebay?

She can't call the police.. She CAN notify Ebay or PayPal and they will have to start a case and figure out what to do. Typically when you get a refund you have to send the item back.. Depending on the situation you may have to give the money back since you did not send her the product back.

firstly, when did firstly become a word? apparently it's in most online dictionaries now.

secondly, most of the time it's cheaper to not get items shipped back. Which is why they don't ask for it back. ... but if you were suppose to send it back and she sent you a shipping label/box etc... then the whole "right not to" is BS especially if you sent it thru the mail anyway... so your excuse there is wrong. And your actually admitting to selling fake perfume.

Your sister has no right being on ebay. But that's between ebay , her, and the seller. You have nothing to do with that.

It all depends on if you agreed to send back the perfume and were to lazy to do so. Or what the ordeal was. I'd just ignore it........ Tell her you sent it, it got lost in the mail... and if she wants to sue you over a bottle of fake perfume so be it.

It's a civil matter, so police will tell her to contact a lawyer and file in small claims court. But if ebay is anything like amazon. Amazon normally refunds your money and lets the seller keep what you gave them. Ebay has guarantees that cover the buyer and the seller.

Call the Police on you ? Does she think the Police will be interested in following up on one bottle of fake perfume sold on ebay when half the time they have not sufficient officers to call on a house that has been burgled.

Your sister knew it was fake, your sister should not have been selling on ebay as she is under 18. Your sister must refund the buyer.

Who told you that if you buy something fake that you don't have to return it if you are refunded in full? Who said Royal Mail doesn't allow it? Did Royal mail tell you that? Face it you are a total CROOK, you got your full refund and then had the cheek to sell that fake item only to get caught like all other crooks get caught. Shame on you, your parents have not taught you anything about honesty and now you will end up in jail - that is where you belong now until you come to your senses and learn right from wrong.

Yawn...who cares if your sister is only 17 years old, you are both crooks, maybe she will join you in jail. You have no rights, crooks have no rights.

Sort this out properly - report the selling of counterfeit goods, as the police urge us to do.

It probably would be a good idea to mention to the police the (attempt at) blackmail

she cannot call the police. the most she can do is try to report the auction as fraudulent.

but since her first instinct was to say she would "call the police" she might not be smart enough to know how to report an auction as fraudulent.

stay calm for now
