No such thing as a free Domain, although you can get a blogging SUB-Domain in your own name .. (see WordPre3ss for example) ... and many ISP's off a 'free' sub-domain ...
Of course the 'free' guys make money by using YOUR content to attract viewers to THEIR adverts (which 'your site' will be forced to take)
But why bother ?
If you just want to advertise who you are, stick to Facebook - if you have a lot to say, why not Twitter ?? = and if you really want to show off, just post videos to YouTube ..
