Getting paid to take surveys....?

Posted at: 2015-03-04
The majority of internet 'surveys' are marketer tools designed to get you to buy more stuff, most people who have done them report earning little money for their time.

People recommending a particular site are probably giving an affiliate link they hope will earn them a commission for recruiting you. Companies that have been around for years are more likely to adhere to privacy laws, but still may not really care about your opinion.

Doing real productive work is most likely to earn you money, this could be as simple as writing web site articles through brokers like iwriter.com or textbroker.com starting at something like $3 for a 500 word article.

Generally......a waste of time.

Most survey sites are scams. The few legit ones pay very little. It takes 6-12 months to earn $25. Plus, you have to qualify for surveys based on your occupation, income and housing status. So, ironically, someone who makes $100,000 a year would qualify for a lot of surveys. However, someone who is unemployed wouldn't qualify for many at all.
