It is a ranking system based on the level of traffic a website receives from people with the Alexa toolbar installed. If you are a blogger you must be knowing how Alexa ranking works. Site which are having good traffic and with regularly updated content, will always have good Alexa rank. Though, it also depends upon many factors like niche, and some other factors, which I’m going to talk about here in this post. These tips, which I mentioned below are something which worked for me to increase Alexa traffic rank of my site and might work for you too.

On the other side of the equation is being careful with low quality backlinks because as you already know with all the recent Google Updates it will actually penalize your website and you may end up losing website traffic.

Google uses seo 3rd party traffic reporting services as one of their 100+ ranking factor, if Google does not specifically contract with Alexa it may not be a search ranking factor, but just more of a gauge of the combined results of search and paid traffic.

First thing is Alexa ranking is doesn't matter for traffic, Alexa is one of the third party tool, tats it. And no worry about PR becaz once u get traffic from Search Engines, automatically your PR getting improve

Backlinks can't improve your traffic. But if users click on this backlinks and visit your site will improve it.
