How can anyone spot a fake job ad ?

Almost all work from home job ads you find are scams unless it's through a site like Elance.com, Odesk.com and Guru.com There are fake jobs on these sites as well but not as many as on any other job site. And DO NOT look on Craigslist - I have never found a single legitimate work from home job there.

And you are right - if you are asked to pay it's a scam

Any job that was real and required no training or experience would not pay even a dollar an hour since you are competing with everyone in the world. Imagine how many farm wives, retired people, SAHM, handicapped people, young teens, full time RVers and people who want a small second income you are competing with.

1. Agree with Caren, most work at home ads

2. Ads that promise you a high income that sounds too good to be true, or promise you training but they make you pay for the training.

3. Ads that require you to invest in a product or equipment or attend a seminar.

4. Ads for reputed companies that tell a different story on their website. e.g. the ad says they are agents hired by the company to recruit staff but the company website says they do not have any agents.

DO NOT FALL FOR THE SCAMS

there is absolutely, positively nothing out there to work from home unless you have years of experience and a real company lets you take work home

I am not sure
