theres a few factors involved. but to keep it simple, generally it will be around 10% of the final selling price. then paypal will charge you a fee for the full amount of funds sent to you (item price and postage). for uk accounts, it appears paypal charges 3.4% + 0.20p.

so for your item it will be:

￡5 x 10% = 0.50p ebay fee

￡8 x 3.4% = 0.27p + 0.20p = 0.40p paypal fee

so total should be 0.90p

Okay, I know how to sell items on Ebay but I don't know how the pay works and I know Ebay charges you, say I put a game up on Ebay starting from 99p and p+p is ￡3, and the winning auction was ￡5, does that mean ￡8 will be paid to my Paypal account to send the item? and how much would Ebay take off that?
