How do you copyright an eBook?

The thing is I don't live in the USA.

The information *is* copyrighted the minute you create it. You don't need to do anything else.

If you choose to register your book with the US Copyright Office, here's how to go about it:

You don't have to formally apply for a copyright for everything you write. If you write it, and someone steals it you're protected as long as you can prove it's your content. That's true of e-books as well. You can add a copyright notice to your e-book with your name (or company name) and year on your own.

You can always do a 'poor man's copyright' that's when you send a paper form of your book to yourself. Check your laws because I live in the usa, and I know once you send something through the postal service, its automatically copywritten.

something I need to resommend you is that most books you download from normal sites(like kindle books, nook books and some popular pdf files) have digital rights management which will prevent you to copy them , but you can refer this technical site to get some help if you want to copy some books:

may it help you, good luck to you baby!
