There are no shortcuts that I've found.
Get listed in blog directories, promote your blog via PPC if possible, promote your blog via article submissions in article directories, and visit other similar blogs to yours and add your links there while adding supporting content in their comments.
Get some hot hoes. Possibly to show some ***. Works 98% of the time. Its all about some big asses.

I've got a twitter account which I keep updating plus facebook, wordpress etc etc but really need to get views up. They all work but too slowly!
