I think you are correct when you see the people he has in the ads. The owner seems to want to take over the world as their finger is in every pie.
The only problem is that throwing a lot of money at things doesn't make them better. I have travelled on their trains and the service was dreadful and my sister in law has the broadband - same thing with terrible service.
