Check at the PO on "flat rate" boxes etc. They have a cost depending on size...no matter the weight. They come in assorted sizes and the boxes are free (but can't be used for anything else)
roughly around £3 each item, but better to see PO website for the shipping price per 500gm, then take the boxes to your local post office, they usually put a spare scale for customers so you can weigh and know exactly the cost before going to the desk
Buy some scales (couple of pounds on ebay) and a tape measure so you can accurately assess which category your packages fall into and what they weigh - then charge accordingly.
I am starting to sell stuff on Ebay but I have no idea how much I should charge for postage. I don't have anything to weigh things with so I thought I'd come on here in case people have sold similar things.
Pair of size 5 converse shoes (I will be sending them in a shoe box)
Size 6 jeans
Size 6 t-shirts
CD's (selling them separately)
Roughly how much postage should I charge in the UK for these things?
