I'm not that keen on Freelance/Elance/etc. Many of the projects that are posted there are only pipe dreams so you could end up wasting a great deal of time.

The easiest way is to make your own website that ranks for a SEO related term (which you should be able to do if you are good at what you do) and then the customers will come to you. That's what I do anyway.
